Depends. Road, if this car is your DD. I am stock, so I really don't know, but read many other users dissatisfied with race type setups when type use for street use. 4-5 decibels too high and some drone?

Good luck with your decision

I had a Miltek on my 997.1 tt when i 1st got it i did my research & found that it was the mellowest sounding exhaust you could get & it was ,maybe a step above the stock system i was happy with it for a while because that's what i wanted ,maybe there race version is louder. Then i started hanging with other guys with turbo's & got jealous of there sound's & eventually moved up to bigger & badder sounds.I'm sure it's the same with .2 as thats there rep,it also hangs down lower than any other af exhaust, they usually sell pretty cheap used on the different forums.

A tough call - and always sux when you spend some money on an exhaust that is not much of an upgrade. But to all those considering - and coming from a guy that just upgraded - absolutely make sure you know what your exhaust will sound like before you buy. PCA HPDE, friends, board members, youtube, vendors sites...its all out there. If you can't listen to it, don't buy it. I had a dealer pitching me an Oakley Titanium - away from a couple of members here - there was radio silence and really no videos online (away for the fact that Oakley went bankrupt).

So as good of a deal as it was (including weight reduction) I had to pass and go with something I could absolutely be sure of.

There are tried and true standards on this board - many come highly recommended and some not as much. Sadly this is probably a little late in your situation - but best of luck with the decat attempt. I'm sure that will add a little more 'fun'.

I can hear a difference. I believe you would be better off providing sound clips with more RPMs. If you're looking to hear a drastic change then I'd be comparing sounds at higher RPMs and wide open throttle (WOT). Btw…I'm not suggesting you try WOT in your garage or parking lot.

Milltek makes a quality exhaust so it's not a problem in craftsmanship. Rather, IMO, it's all about what you're looking for from sound and performance; with the later be very hard to measure other than the car will sound much cooler, especially at wide open throttle. This can be said for for most after market exhausts.

What are your expectations, e.g. sound, performance, etc…and how will this be measured. Some manufactures provide performance metrics, sound clips, etc. Some state X system works best when accompanied with X mods.

Good luck and nice ride!

TWturbo did tell you mate… I would never go with milltek on this car… BBI, FVD, Cargraphic, Europipe… Didn't you do any research on here?

You could sell it while it's still almost new to someone looking for a quiet exhaust and just get something else with minimal loss?

Good Luck
