Newb question: short shifter
If the SSK was a factory installed option, you can get the build sheet and it will show up on there.
But from what i have read and what has been said in this post, is that you can't really tell by looking at the car. The feel and throw of the shifter would have to be compared to another car that you knew either had the SSK or did not in order to tell.

Thanks Kricci. where can I find the build sheet? I looked through the paperwork that came with the car and could only find the VIN number (which I don't think captures options on the car).
This may help but costs $10... someone may be able to provide a free website, i think i got mine for free from a website but i don't recall what site that was...

Retrofitting either the OEM short shifter or maybe an aftermarket one. The gear change is good but not great. For other mods, a flash, exhaust and the TPC DSC suspension upgrade. Nothing more & no tracking / dragging, just looking for the car to be a more responsive DD.

The best $700 i have ever spent. I am not exaggerating, EVERY time I drive the car I am amazed at how good this thing is, and its designed to be that good forever, has precision ball bearings at every pivot point.
