Car Seat in the 911
I just sold my lexus ISF, im looking at the 997 TT to replace that car. I loved the ISF for the fact that my kids could fit in the back and I could take them out for "daddy days" trips to School etc... My oldest daughter is 6yrs old, Not big enough to safely ride up front and small enough that she can deal with the tight rear seat space in the 911.
Anyone on here have kids that ride in the Turbo with them? If they don't fit its not a deal breaker for me, just would be nice if it worked out.

The 997 will fit you and the kids well. I carry my 7 yr old and her pal in the rear seats no problem. She is actually very comfortable there. I'm 6'3" and with the drivers seat just a touch closer to the front there is good room for the passenger behind the driver as well.
My 11 yr old rode in the rear seat until just last year...she is very tall and now just won't fit unless there is no passenger and the passenger front seat is pushed all the way up. But with no passenger she also fits very well in the rear seat.

My daughter is only 3 but she loves riding at the back seat of the 997TT. When I give her the option to take the GL450 or the 997TT, she goes for the 997TT every time. But I have to say that the car seat is on the right and I keep the front passenger seat closer to the dash when she is in the car which might make it uncomfortable if you have someone sitting on the front passenger seat at the same time.

My 2.5 yo rides in the P junior seat in the back. Her feet straddle the front seat a little but she knows to be careful not to put her shoes on the back of the seat. Although she does tell me to keep the top up every time.

I got a rear facing child seat yesterday for my 997.1turbo, kids up to 4y must go in those (Sweden strict on child safety, not as in the US).
I got a non isofix chair, the isofix are only allowed up to 18kg.
It fits fine up front, the 4+ has a booster seat behind me.
Only issue is its a little hard to see the right side mirror when driving, but I think some minor adjustments of the child seat will clear that.
Second thing is the rear seat behind is basically useless now.
Still its makes all three of us smile when we get into the turbo
I can take a pic if you want!

My five year old seems fine in the back. Using a Recaro Vivo that fits fine with the bottom seat cushion removed.
I've noticed that the noise from the engine has a tendency to lull him to sleep on longer drives.

Do a google search for Bubble Bum Booster. It is an inflatable booster seat. Approved by transportation safety and all
