don't listen to those people.
245/325 set up is ABSOLUTELY fine for the 997.. in fact its the same size on the gt3 and gt2 (they use the same abs as the 997tt). the difference in front to rear is the same as a 235/305 set up.
champion and GMG use it on their cars without ever having an issue, as does Wheels Boutique.

a 245/325 set up would sit sooo flush with the fender, and on a toyo r888, with a good alignment and sway bar setting would allow you to FLY through corners.

i have a set of r888s with 95+% tread left in 305/235 set up. i want to sell them and get 245/325 for my magnesiums.
Thanks for doing the research Steve - there are always questions about the front/rear ratio but the concern is with the AWD differential not ABS. The GT3 and GT2 are RWD so the differential issue is moot.

I followed this thread a bit in regard to offsets for 245/325 tire sizes as I was ordering wheels and here is what I ended up with.

MONKY LONDON is infamous around these partsMONKY LONDON is infamous around these parts
Just bringing this thread back up.

I've got a 997 Turbo gen 2.

Just bought GT2 RS centre lock wheels, front 9 x 19 ET47, rear 12 x 19 ET48.

Will I be okay running 245/35 Cup Sport 2 on the front or will they stick out too much past the fender?

Picture below is a 997 Turbo with GT2 RS wheels like I have, he is running stock size a little stretched, 235/35 and a PSS so not as chunky as a Cup and they stick out a little.Heplans to get 245 in Cup once he has GT2 arch extensions.

I want to avoid the RS stick on extensions if I can, do you think I will be okay with 245 Cup or shall I use a 235 just in case?
