Champion-GIAC 9-second file uploaded :)
Yes no issues at all but so far all my hard driving has been with the tune+plenum. My first Airstrip race with the intercoolers, exhaust and Stage 2 file is tomorrow.
Excellent looking forward to your results. GIAC says approx 600 HP/700 TQ to the wheels on a Mustang dyno. Please let us know the brand and model of the dyno if you can as well. Thanks.

It's a slippery slope that's for sure. I not only addressed power mods but I also did a hefty suspension upgrade. This thing is so visceral now it's not even a close resemblance of what it used to be. It is so much faster and handles so much better. Really unbelievable what a grand total of 7 mods (4 engine, 3 suspension) have done to an already stout performer.
Haha that's what I was thinking back in September when I bought the car

Just got back from GIAC, who uploaded the Champion/GIAC 9-second file on my car after BBI yesterday installed the Champion intercoolers and BBi exhaust.
The power difference between the "plenum" file that I used to have (just tune + IPD plenum) and this file is insane. The top end pulls so much harder it seems unbelievable to me that these are stock turbos. With just the plenum\tune the car was already a beast and some of you have seen my recent Shift S3ctor Big Willow roll-on vid:

On Saturday I head up to Ft. Shafter Airstrip in lovely Bakersfield for the NoFlyZone 1/2 mile event and will have some good footage from that. With how strong the car is pulling up top, how explosive it is on the "hit" (at 40-45mph) crossing the starting cones, and how efficient the PDK trans shifts, I will be asking 800 wheel cars to run. I'll probably loose some, but I might win some too

Awesome videos, thanks for posting. Rep points for you.
I was impressed with the M3 and the M5 for keeping up with you. I thought it was funny that you just knew when to put the camera forward for the faster cars but then realized you probably had 2 cameras on your car. I was surprised how easily you pulled the McLaren. I thought the McLaren was a little faster than my modded 997.1tt. Any idea what your 60-130 or 100k-200km/hr time is?
I had Joey at BBi set it up for me. He did Ohlins R&T single adjustable coils (still very comfortable) with BBi end links and LCA's. The LCA's widened the rear track a few MM and then they did a corner balance alignment. Camber in the rear was reduced from around -1.7 stock to maybe -1.0 and in the front we added as much neg camber as possible (maybe -1.7).
The rear end is much more planted now. And the car is far more stable and capable at higher speeds where with the stock suspension it was downright scary!

For that event, I had the tune + plenum. WSIR is at 2,300 feet elevation and it was in the 70's so the 60-130's were pretty bad for everyone. I was doing pretty consistent 7.8 - 8.1. The M5 that I was neck-and-neck with did a 60 - 130 of 7.1 seconds the day before at sea level.
After installing my exhaust and intercoolers with tune remap to 22psi (9-second file), I ran that same M5 yesterday and I just flew away from him! Even though it was over 80 degrees and at high elevation, I was doing fairly consistent 60-130's of 6.9 with no passenger and 7.1 with a passenger. At nighttime + sea level it has a 5.9 in it easy. I tried doing some 60-130's late last night back home (sea level) and I was blowing off the tires in 2nd gear. Michelin PSS are now worthless...need R888s!
Next time!
Missed you today. The fastest cars were a couple 850 wheel GTRs and a 900 wheel Ford GT that I think you would have been real close with.
Vid is up! I'll start a new thread soon.
It was a blast! Vid is up.
Car did phenomenal. Only losses were to member KenRomero with a 997.1 with 68mm turbos and an 880 wheel single turbo Supra. I'll post vid up now.
