Best Intercoolers for 997.2 Turbo
Care to show me another 997.2 Turbo that can run a 9.8 second 1/4 mile with someone else's intercoolers? Or maybe another 997.2 that can make as much power as one equipped with our intercoolers? Or how about a VTG-equipped 997.1 car that makes 830 wheel HP?

I'd say this is all pretty good evidence that we make one of (if not THE) best intercooler upgrades for the 997.1 and 997.2 platforms.
webcarconnections...take a look here. You'll see what we can do with our intercoolers:

OP. Why do you post 2 replies in a row to everything? You know you can just do paragraphs in a single post right?
^^^ That's a bit of a stretch claim. Especially since you made it quite clear the real determining factor in that achievement was the GIAC software. Now they may be relying on your lower IAT's to hit the targets they are, but it's hardly a reliable way to benchmark your IC's against others.

Tune (Cobb)
Exhaust (Kline)
IC's (997.2s)
Injectors and E85
If I didnt have E85 I prob do meth instead.

That being said, the .2 cars are not the only cars where our IC's really shine. How about our .1 VTG cars making over 800 whp?
Just as an FYI, GIAC will not sell the upgraded software (which they call the 'Champion 9 Sec File') unless the car has our intercoolers installed. During the software development, one of the key factors was IAT's and consistency...which only our intercoolers provided. We did tests with others, including OE, and none worked well enough to support the requests of the new software.

I collected vBox data from every run at these events and the data showed that the stock intercooler car would heat soak quickly and my 60-130 times suffered if I didn't cool the car down.
For example, I did back to back runs against an e85 GTR (at my first airstrip event at NFZ 3) with the stock intercoolers and did a 7.7 second time when the car was cooled down and beat the GTR, and then the next run I did an 8.5 and lost. I noticed that the car would produce much better 60-130 times after I cooled the car down for 30-45 minutes but if I hotlapped, the car would be a lot slower.
The second airstrip event with Stg 1 and stock intercoolers (Shift Sector Big Willow) was similar in that I was beating cars in the morning while cooling the car down after each run. But then in the afternoon I just kept running cars and lost races to cars that I beat in the morning. Why? The stock intercoolers couldn't cool the charge enough to keep up with my hotlapping. 60-130 times were in the high 7's when cooling the car and mid-8s hotlapping.
Now lets compares this to my last event at NFZ 4 with Stg 2 and Champion Intercoolers. My 60-130's were in a very tight range all day (6.9 to 7.0 without passenger and 7.0-7.2 with passengers) no matter if my car was cool or hot. The car was very consistent and that is the most important thing. AND, it was a much warmer day (in the low 80s) compared to the previous events (NFZ 3 in the 60's and SS Big Willow in the low 70s) I mentioned.
The only other change I made was the exhaust, which might have also helped. However I chose to include 200 cel cats in my exhaust so it's going to still be more restrictive and cause higher EGT's than catless.
Anyway hope this helps.
The dimensions of our intercoolers are the same as stock. This means that they will fit into the existing intercooler cages perfectly and match the factory ducts. What's different about our intercoolers is that we use a much more efficient core material, which provide amazing flow and cooling.

We will have 997.2 IC's ready very soon. It will be the same as our current kit just some 997.2 specific items like special silicone piping specific to the 997.2.

Thanks for that... For the record, AMS are the KINGS of the GTR world, period!
Hope you find the same road on the Porsche world
