it is pretty high up there barring tracking the car (12y/100k miles). I just make it a habit to always change out all fluids in the used cars I buy....no matter the make for peace of mind.

In my case....cold start shifting improved greatly (at 65k miles on the odometer).

My thoughts exactly. God knows brake pad replacement is 100x cheaper than clutch and transmission replacement.

I'm getting it changed at the end of this month

Car will be in shop for fresh fluids.. figured why not. If a crushed synchro falls out through the drain plug I'll let you guys know

Hmmmm. This can also be caused by motor mounts. Just a thought. I know the ball bearing solves 90% of the problems, but this is also a better option than rebuilding the whole trans...
