Numeric shifter best position

Happy Eastern to all!

What's the difference of the three shifter positions: bottom, mid or top?? IMO the top position (lower lever setting ) feels too tight like you have to apply a lot of force when shifting , also feels rough, the middle setting feels easy when shifting, and does not feel too rough, and the lower (taller lever setting) gets better, not rough at all. Does the 3 different positions imply time in between shifts? So what would be the best shifter position?

Go for the middle position, that's what I use and find it better than the SSK from Porsche but not to over the top.

I think the top position would be too short and the bottom possibly too long.

It is easy to change if you are not happy.

I did the same, I played safe, not too tall, not too short.
Thanks for your opinion.
