Silicone boost hoses... Options and opinions wanted

Happy Easter to all. After a wonderful brunch, I decided to hit the hills today. Had quite a blast (literally) up blood mountain on GA129. What a ride!!!. However...

Turbo to IC hose blew off... 4 times! Now, I knew it was a matter of time, and that this is a weak point in the design. Considering I had never dealt with the issue, I left "well enough" alone. For once in my life😢 and it bit me in the a**. So naturally after limping the ride home with no boost, a CEL, and stalls at red lights, I was shopping boost hoses! I don't see a ton of options out there and was a little surprised! Are these all equal? Is the design the same as far as mounting to the IC ducts? Is it definitely superior to the OEM design? So far I have found:

VenAir: $700
http://www.andysautosport.com/turbo_...rsche_997.html

Agency Power: $600
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...9-p-61757.html

Forge: $360
http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...roduct=FMKT997

What else is out there? And what seller should I be shopping with? And, should any of these products be avoided? If so please state why!

I don't want my next run to include this again:

Forge makes great stuff, and $600 or $700 is insane for a few coupler parts and silicone hose.

If you are going to change them then go for the Forge but first try changing the O rings and clips.

Changing the clip is the best advice. You will have no performance benefit from those hoses and the prices are absolutely absurd. You likely have a "sprung" clip. I would replace that and go from there.

Well having spent far more time under there screwing with it then i cared to, its really more of a matter that the hose doesn't want to go in far enough to actually clip in. I remember when I got the exhaust installed it was a little issue to get seated properly. Now that it popped off there was a bit of marring on the should be flat lip that may be causing part of the issue. It needs to be bent back down and or filed.

Is the consensus that when seated properly, with a good clip it wont pop off? I am not expecting a "performance gain" from silicone hoses, more seeing no performance loss from the hose popping off. These AM hoses and couplers, do they connect to the ducts the same way. Will they also be prone to pop off?

The only point of running silicone hoses would be if you were running very high boost to prevent splitting. But these kits you have mention will fix exactly the same way as stock Infact the stock hoses fit more snug. The clips and O rings would have to be used again anyway as they don't come with the silicone hose kits so you might aswell give that a go first.

Thanks Nick. That was what I was looking to figure out. Its hard to believe there is no better solution. I am not creating enough boost to deal with splitting hoses so I guess making the stock one stay in place is the way to go.
