Can't speak to the '11 but my '07 sunroof auto opens and closes.

The passenger window "feature" also drives me mental. Probably the most annoying part of the car for me.

The window thing is annoying, but I think my biggest annoyance with the car so far is the radio. I mute the volume (click down on the button) so that I can hear the sweet sounds of that amazing engine, but every time I start the car the radio is back on. Same thing in my cayenne. Drives me nuts.

Mine did on my '08 too. For some reason I think they took out the option. But then I think they brought it back! I guess auto close is not a feature on the '11. The window issue is another problem. It SHOULD auto close up after it is half way up manually, but mine goes down instead of continuing up. Seems this is a common turbo glitch.

C, you are talking about the sunroof right? My 2008 Turbo's sunroof does NOT close *or* open automatically! Now I wonder what on earth is going on.

Definitely should. I found an interesting thing though. Compared to most cars, the auto close and open functions are not like other cars. On most cars, you hold down the switch and then the auto functions work. On a Porsche, you just tap the switch in either direction - do NOT hold it down. Should auto open and close. Unless you have an '11

No auto close on the sun roof. Agree with all, super annoying.
Still can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong with the passenger side window or weather it's just a glitch like a few people have mentioned.
What I have figured out. There are 2 clicks when closing the window, you feel the first one with light pressure then a little more pressure and you feel the second click. You have to feel the second click for the auto up to work, and +1 to what other people have said re: you have to hold it until it's half way up. Also, this doesn't work unless the window is ALL the way down to start.
The little glitch where is stops going up or goes down I can't figure out. It's so random when it happens. If anyone has an explanation or a fix for this I would love to hear it!

2011 C4S
Not sure why passenger window not just one-touch, but need to do a magic dance for one-touch to work.

For the sunroof, I thought mine was not calibrated or something needed to be re-set. So I tried all the magic dances, but still would not CLOSE with one-touch.

So I re-read the owner's manual closely. Apparently, on the 2011, the one-touch is eliminated for closing function. (???) Guess for safety to not strangle a kid or something. Manual says one-touch available for open, or lift function, but not to close.

At least I know not to let the dealer charge me 2k for something I dont need!

Yup 2011 here. Sunroof a pain to close. I have to get out of the car and look at it to see if it's flush. Usually it's not and I have to f8ck with it for a bit. Annoying.
