Im in Las Vegas for a bit. But sure. My car is stock and how much did you dump in yours? And yeah when the guy was asking 78k for it because he was leaving the country... who wouldnt
The Tip robs power. LOL Docboy you really need to read about the car.
here is what makes the tip SO much better and you so full of malarky. The Tip and PDK are able to MAINTAIN BOOST! while the manual cant and has to rebuild it
So your comments about robbing power are just

See the reason it cant handle as much HP as in the NUMBER not the real world application is because of what I said above. The Massive power and the held boost is too much.

I've seen some your other posts as well; you are consistent to bash the manual (and the poster as well).
Agreed tiptronic can hold boost more than manual. But...the tiptronic boost advantage is when the car is from 30mph+. From 0-30mph, manual is quicker
Online sources suggest 0-60mph for manual and tiptronic are both around 3.4 seconds, +/- 0.1 sec. At the quarter mile, tiptronic starts to edge out the manual by 0.1 sec, and from then on, the tiptronic's edge over the manual widens.
So unless you plan on racing the 911tt at the racetrack daily, or are always looking to drag race someone at the quarter mile and then some, the manual wins for city/at the speed limit freeway driving in terms of performance.
But like I said above, it boils down to preference.
Dude, what got up your ****?

I would also like to add that my favorite sports team is better than your favorite sports team, and you know it.
I had the same debate. Drove the R8 4.2 V8 first. This one had a minor tune and exhaust and I was hooked. Nearly bought it in the spot but I knew I needed to give the 911 turbo a shot. Glad I did. Ended up with the 997.1tt.
In my opinion the R8 is hot but it would not have been much of a performance improvement from my Lexus Isf. Defiantly a head turner. If it were a V10 and in my target price range I would be in a r8 today.
The Porsche has timeless looks. Much better driver feel. True super car performance. Has a pair of back seats so my kids can ride in "turbo" to school. I have no regrets.
If you want attention the R8 doesn't go unnoticed. The porsche will fly under the radar a little. Some know the difference between a base carerra and turbo but most don't.
Porsche 997tt= timeless design , superior performance, better storage options for travel, back seats and better gas mileage (I know I know that's not what these are for but 15-16 freeway with the R8 would bother me)
Audi R8= supercar looks, arguably better cabin layout, more attention (if that's important to you) gated shifter is cool

Its got nothing to do with what you think it does. The tip has ZERO to do with a drag race, which FYI flies int eh face of your previous , slow, shifts slower comments.
Its faster everywhere, a full 2.2 seconds faster 0-160 and over a second to 100.
All the Porsche test drivers said as much as tey hated too for their money for a DD and occasional track car they would get the Tip.
Put the tip in sport and I would love to see somone out shift it.
Look its ok to love a 6sp. Im the same way with planes. i'd take a decat super-8 in a heartbeat over a Beach or Arrow or Mooney.
Then again I wouldnt be using it for a point a to b.
And I will say it again and should quote myself. I am NOT bashing a Manual! seems its 100% ok to bash a Tip, that most havent driven, I am merily offering that he try another version of the 911 turbo then compare to a V8 R8.
Seems that the response would be different if I was here to bash on the Tip.
