I took the path slightly less traveled and went with the TechArt tips. Fabspeed "rounds" were the more popular on here but I've been happy with these functional quad overlapping ovals so far. I've had a few inquiries while stopped at red lights about them (two from folks who identified themselves as NNJPCA members)! If you want to go with the consensus then opt for the "rounds", you can't go wrong with those and they are nice!

Fabspeed is probably the most popular tip around here because it is very well made, it is ROUND, and it looks great.

The main thing I look for is ROUND exhaust tip, nothing fancy, I just want ROUND exhaust tips . In this sense, both Fabspeed and Cargraphic are double round and essentially the same, no? As the Fabspeed tip is already around $700, personally I would pay 100 more to get Cargraphic since you have Cargraphic exhaust. "Complete" the system so to speak.

Below is pic of my Fabspeed tip on Cargraphic exhaust. My only (minor) complaint about the Fabspeed tip is that it seems very heavy, although I don't have any idea how heavy other after market tips are.

Do you feel like the polished tips are getting discolored or super hard to keep clean....

top - to see how far they stick out
back - to see how much they fill in the opening
side - to see the stagger of the two pipes

ok, I'm currently in Russia so I take some pics once back home.

top view, you can push them in and out a fair bit to adjust it yourself and the fill the opening pretty much totally...

Neither; I think color stays about the same and soot comes off ok. Note that the Fabspeed's polished steel finish is not "bright white" like the typical chrome of the Cargraphic/Techart tip, but more subdued - still shinny, but not as shinny. I actually prefer it that way, but this is strictly personal taste.

You will be fine with it; it has been among the most popular tips for a reason, and if it could be had for $500, then even better. Simple, round, fill the hole, doesn't break; that's all most people want out of the tip, and that's what you get with the Fabspeed. The double round opening somehow reminds me of the round exhaust of space shuttle, which I like.

PS: BBI tip above looks cool too! Note how the construction/look of the 2 tips are very different: Fabspeed rolls in at the tip, where as BBI looks like a straight cut across the pipe.

I ceramic coated stock tips black as I decided I like the way the shape fit the car's tail lights and the space made for the exhaust (and my car is black, so it may depend on the color of your car for this solution).
