For the 997.2's, I haven't submitted my times to the mods because it was done on 91 octane fuel and I know I can do a lot better with race gas and good conditions. Some have said it's the best 100-200km and 60-130mph recorded so far on a vBox for the 997.2 Turbo PDK:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...0-6-579-a.html
With the race gas tune and decent DA's it should be high 5's, given the results of some of my airstrip races against cars with verified times in the 5's. I just need the weather to cool back down before I try again.
Cheers.
Best is to datalog with the default datalogging channels on your Cobb AP and send it in to us for review.
Knock retard wise you have Timing Correction channels for all 6 cylinders in the log and if a map is too aggressive for your octane you'll see timing being pulled.

and what timing is ok?
Targeted ignition timing varies based on many parameters in the tune (e.g. load, rpm, valve timing, various temp compensation and knock correction tables, etc).
If you look at your datalog you'll see a number of channels logged by default. Usually what you'd do is capture timing from one of the cylinders (e.g. Timing Cyl 1) and log Timing Correction values for cylinder 1-6. This will give you a picture of what the car is currently running timing wise. Those values will vary depending on the octane the car is targetting as well as various adaptations. On both the 997.1 and 997.2 there are multiple base timing maps that the car's DME will switch between based on octane, cam timing, etc so it is very hard to just provide a direct answer to your question as the most appropriate would really be: it depends.
If you've got any other questions best is to always just email me at dzenno@protuninggroup.com or our general email at support@protuninggroup.com.

Believe me I know... I have been watching your every move
You are the man on PDKs (so far
)I might have had a much faster car Cagraphic Stage 3 custom tuned 997.1 Turbo with great vbox times and great streetracing results over here, however the fact that it was an automatic had many negatives for me esp when I longed for a spirited drive through some mountain curves or wanted to endulge in a quick lap around a circuit... Tip (even though modded/tuned to a very fast state) just did not do it for me!
I wanted the whole package so I thought to try a PDK out for some time! This will be my 6th 997 Turbo (+1 996 Turbo) so I am confident that I will love it since it incorporates the best of all worlds! Monster power is not a thing for me so the limits of this car are more than enough!
Ofcourse, when I get it I plan to try out some tunes and a decent exhaust and see what vbx will fetch.... well you know me form all these years...
I am a sucker for these runs...
i have the same as coupe and just need 7,15 100-200 with stock ecu!!

As a quick update on our progress we've ordered a few goodies for our 997.1 that we'll be installing and testing with in a staged fashion. First will be an install of the ERP triple carbon clutch on the 997.1 and finalizing our testing there with the OEM VTGs. We stopped at a 7.1sec 60-130mph with a slipping clutch on pump gas and we can't wait to get back to it and see where we stand on race gas before going further.
Once that is completed we'll be taking our shop's 997.1 car further with a set of Tial Alpha 3076s on the 997.1 to push on further.
In the meantime we're continuing work closely with Cobb and a number of our custom protune customers as well as making progress with our shop's pdk 997.2. Great times ahead and we're very excited to be able to share it with everyone on here.

That is the plan but not the immediate one. We felt that of all the options out there these turbos were the best candidates in maxing out the stock motor in an efficient way. Once the motor does get built we'll re-group on the turbo choice front to see where we stand based on what we do with the motor.
