$1400 is on the high side, even though I think very highly of TPC. What is the cost of the TPC bar without drop link?

With GMG bars no longer available, my next top choice would be H&R sway bars (have been used by a number of owners here), available for around $750 at Vivid Racing below. Another choice would be Eibach. (I probably would stay away from the other brand on the page below. :-) and no flame pls, just personal opinion.)

Without drop links the bars are $1,190.00 . On the 997TT with stock suspension, you are only able to use the two softest settings with the factory drop links. If you are on street, this can be ok, but on track I would recommend the drop links so that you can take advantage of the performance that the TPC Racing sway bars have to offer.

Harris, whats your recommendation of lowering. I am currently lowered and my local dealer mentioned that my ride is really harsh which could be due to the reduced travel. I have my original springs still. Should I put those back on? I have your DSC on its way and am also looking at adding a sway bar. So stock springs or lowered for a daily driver with monthly DEs??

I had the feeling someone was going to catch me. :-) That was meant to needle GMG and to see if they would respond. I have no idea why that GMG bar has been out of stock; it's been so for a while now, no?

BTW GMG bar is made by Eibach, apparently to GMG specifications. Since we know Eibach is a highly reputable manufacturer, it would make sense that the sway bars made by Eibach would be pretty good also (just guessing, no direct experience).

One thing I don't know is why the Vivid Racing doesn't list "adjustable" next to the Eibach bar. If you are buying them, make sure that they are "adjustable," meaning they have 3 holes at the end so you could adjust stiffness.

Why I outta..............

I honestly want the GMG setup and I have time but I'm not going to wait forever. I've replied to something like 3 threads of GMG's about this as well as PM'd them. No response. Yes, I could call but since I'm in no hurry I figured I'll see how long it takes for them to respond.

I bought some of their springs earlier this year. Absolutely love them. Never had any response issues, from GMG or Pelican (ordered from Pelican so I could use PayPal). Plan on getting the sways at some point but the springs did such a good job of stabilizing I didn't feel the need immediately. Be gutted if they're not available long term.

From what I've read (on the internet, take it with a grain of salt) is that the GMG are the most focused/firm when it comes to the spring/sways etc on offer (that mostly seem manufactured by Eibach?).

They could be slow at answering email. The best way to contact and buy components is to call GMG on the phone:
Phone: +1 (714) 432 - 1582

Call and let us know if anyone answers; "radio silence" would be sign of trouble. :-)
