jacking a convertible.
jacking a convertible.
Hey there, I think I understand what the answer is but need to settle my mind. Is there anything wrong with jacking your car from the jack points one side at a time? I know that a convertible should have its top dropped before doing it.
I would prefer to have the car jacked up on all fours at once. But if you can only do on side at a time, is it safe from bending the car frame? Messing up your alignment? Etc?
I would assume it would be fine as in an emergency tire repair situation, you would be only able to jack from one point anyway. Thoughts please.
