To your original question...
Which ever you decide, for the love of god, don't mix an match :P
In my opinion, if you consider GT2 skirts don't use the TA type front lip... it seriously looks silly - unproportional with a big lower lip and skinny sides. The ones I've seen looked a bit fast n furious, and the lines just don't line up.
If you're looking to go in either direction do it right.
GT2 lip, front bumper and skirts ...or TA lip, skirts and rear lower valance.
Anything else, you might as well throw some stickers and neon lights on it and call it a day :P

+1 the TA are just to boxy & bulky looking imho, the further away you get from the production date of the car, the more cheesy some of these aftermarket kits look .
Yep all about proportion and stance. You car looks like it could have come straight out of the factory if Porsche had ever made a 997 Turbo RS. Very very nice - looks fabulous.
Here in the UK we have an aftermarket motor shop called Halfords and the TA side skirts look like they've come off a citroen saxo Halfords kit. Looks tacky and cheap IMO. As an aside I like their front lip spoiler and rear under valance TA do. I'm sure its a quality product as TA is top notch but this time they've got the design wrong as the side skirts look disproportionate.

which TA lip are you referring too. The TA type 1 is actually the same size as the Aero lip. I actually put both side by side. Also the Gt2 lines line up with the TA front much better.
I understand that, but the Aero kit sticks out farther, I have placed them side by side and at my mechanics shop there was cars with both. The aero kit is MUCH more of lip that is quite obvious and the TA flows more, reminds me more of a cup car splitter. I was comparing the two cars but it looked like the GT2 skirts were meant for the TA splitter.
Also I have a black car which lessens a lot of the shadows and bulk ( like maverick said) of a silver etc car. Also the Aero seems lower as the aero scrapes much more than the TA.
again, both side by side on the ground there are minimal differences. If you had front quartering shots you can't tell me the Aero kit is less bulky. Its a flat line that has zero flow aesthetically. Maybe for a pure performance deal its best.
TA rear diffuser is the on TA piece that really works with the tt imho it totally changes the look of rear just makes it look wider & lower ,i would't want to bash anyone else's car as long as you like the TA side skirts, thats all that matters.

...just a friendly jest - no harm intended.
I think we would all agree, a full GT2RS aero (wing, rear/front bumper, skirts, wheel wells) is by far the best way to go.
Most expensive, but true to OEM and will stand the test of time.
