I was wondering if anyone had any information or guide on how to disassemble the mirrors?

I'm changing my 997.2 Mirrors for GT2 Carbon Fiber mirrors, but I don't know how I take off the painted part of the mirror.

997.2 is a little different - I just did this and everything is the same except there is no screw on the bottom as shown in the pictures. Just take your time especially when removing the mirrors.
