I hate to say this but, call them or email. They don't check the threads like they use to. Its not a surprise though, Mitch and Jon would have a hard time covering an 1/8 the cars that Cobb supports.
Mitch is exceptionally good. He needs a marketing coordinator or something to keep up with all of the forum demand for his talents. He's out there getting results not posting about what he's going to do .
I would like to thank Mitch/Cobb for the exceptional customer service that they have given me. We have done numerous logs on 93, 100 and E30, and Mitch is always available and courteous to answer any questions that you may have. That is what its all about
my AP came in few days ago but I have yet to install it, just an exhaust and IPD plenum on my 997.2 TurboS, however I have a quick question for those who already went through with the install:
1. are there differences between revision labels such as TUS26 or TUM20 etc etc, I was browsing through Cobb's map data base and it seems there are many versions of tunes outside of gas grade.
2. how big of difference are these OTS stage 2 tunes a custom ProTuned car? Are you guys sending Mitch your logs for him to customize something for your particular car?
please shed some light if anyone knows, thank you.
Nice! The hardware you have with a tune will feel amazing!
The TU designations are just ROM ID's and there are several per model. Once you connect it will select the correct one for your car and you can move forward. take a picture or jot that info down as you will need it if you would like to Pro-Tune.
There are several Cobb ProTuners on here and any of us can help you out. You can always gain by customizing to your cars environment and exact hardware to achieve a smoother and stronger set-up. That's the power of the Cobb AP. Mitch and the team are amazing at offering support to everyone involved from vendors to tuners to the end user!

The TU labels are just the ROM IDs as Sam mentioned.
What mods do you have? That would help us on the forum help guide you towards the best path forward. As someone who has literally tried almost any combination of parts and tuning available from stage 1 to big turbos and everything in between, i'd be happy to help guide you with your goals etc. What works, what doesn't etc on the 997.2 platform
There are some great COBB protuners out there, including Sam who posted above. He is always available and goes above and beyond to get whatever you need to make you happy. Def has my recommendation!
Since this thread got bumped up I'd just like to take a second and show you guys what we have been working on for the 997.2TT. This is just a brief teaser of our imminent Stage3 release for 997.2TT. More info will follow in a separate thread.
