Another new record?
A Mustang dyno once calibrated per their specs will always read about 8-12% than a Dynojet in RWD mode. Difference will be slightly larger for AWD cars. As much as I personally dislike Dynojets for tuning as they're inertia based they are great as an online comparo/measuring stick as they vary at most 15-20whp out there in general. If the Mustang you use reads within 10whp of the Dynojet its just calibrated a little on the high side. This variance in calibration on load bearing dynoes is why I personally always ask to see Dynojet numbers. Mustang for tuning though, all day every day.
Yes that's the car....a few months ago. We've made a few changes since that video.

Totally agree with all of your points as that's been my experience over many years of dynoing and tuning my personal cars.
In fact while I was at The Tuning School Advance course (HPtuners-Ls), we saw a 30+hp variance by just entering in a different car (camaro vs. corvette) in the dyno software. The instructor did it to make a point about the variables in a Mustang dyno and how easy it is to skew #'s.
Same car, no changes within 5 minutes of the previous run.
The Mustang is awesome for tuning but almost impossible to compare with results from other unknown dynos.

Customer just sent this over to me via text message.
Unfortunately (as you can see in the pic) he didn't have a memory card in the Vbox so nothing was recorded.
Car is a 997.2 PDK Turbo S with out full CMS package with 68mm VTG's and Aquamist HFS-4 V3. This was the only run he got a pic of...but he promised me it went well below 6 a few times too. I'll post more updates as I get them...

haha I just talked to him today too. I've been helping him with the Aquamist install on his car, so hopefully he'll have some results to share soon too.
Found a copy of a dyno sheet from the early stages of tuning when we added the Aquamist kit. This was a bit more power then we were comfortable with, so we turned it down a bit afterward. You can see, it was almost 90 degrees in our dyno room that day too, which wasn't helping lol.
And yes...this IS a PDK car.
The PDK is not the wall we're up against...

Glad to see this setup is working well!
