997.2 TTS is infamous around these parts
As the previous owner of 6 Ferraris over a 25 year period, keep the Porsche. While they were all fun and sounded GREAT, they are week end toys, not cars you can comfortably and reliably drive on a regular basis. And maintenance and repair cost make your Turbo seem like a Corolla. I drive my TTTS 20k miles a year with zero problems. Try that with a Ferrari and you better have a flatbed driver on speed dial.

Whoever said "the F430 is about as fast as 997TT so therefore get R8 V10, Jag F Type R etc" is a bit off. The R8 V10 will put lengths on a 430 and a my XKR pulled an R8 on the hwy so I know a slightly lighter F Type R would do the same. And the torque of those two feel like refined Vipers. Still have the XKR along side the 700hp 997TT and the torque of the XKR still feels very cool.

Anyhow, back on topic... Having owned my 997TT for about a month I'll be honest I have wondered if I should have gone Italian. But I would have gone LP560 because I love its dimensions, tight build quality and reliability and they are slightly less sensitive to mileage depreciation. So far I'm enjoying the understatedness of the 997TT. Next car will either be a 650S, Huracan or 458.
