the MPSS don't carry an 'N' rating. Those who are running them : have you encountered a blowout or leak that required you to do a temporary patch ?

The $600 saving seems tempting.

Paul,
I may be mistaken, but I believe I inquired about P rating with Tire Rack and there are MPSS tires made for turbos and gt2s that have the P rating.

sladep : the MPSS does not have an 'N' rating. The tire clearing is a favorite, and less money. The repre @ TireRack I spoke w/ 11 months ago said it does not have the rating due to the sidewall. I tend to drive on remote two lane roads, sometimes w/o cell service, hence I need to assure I haven't selected a tire that doesn't meet the N spec.

AAA can help in near metro areas but 50 miles from a town ?
