12" is ET48 with 325 tire

Actually I love the way the et18 looks. ^ Those pictured above are way too mild for me ^ I guess compared to the way you guys see tires, I don't mind a little "stretch"

Just looked up my sales order. 12's are going to be ET31

The Pirelli's will "stretch more than the Michelin's. If you are going for an aggressive offset and need to compensate with a stretched sidewall, the Pirelli's will do it. Do not by any means even consider Toyo.

Good luck.

Thanks Vinny, No Toyo's, really would prefer to run the PSS. I just did a bit of comparison with the Pirellis.

Pirellis
325/25/20 - 26.5"
245/30/20 - 25.8"

Michelin PSS
305/25/20 - 26"
235/30/20 - 25.6"

The 305 Michelins are really not that much different in size compared to the 325 Pirellis.

I think that you are stuck with the 305 for the 12". On the pic that i posted, the GT2 has 325 on 12" and it looks too square to avoid rubbing issues witb the ET31.

mo.
245/325 is what you want to be running a 9 and 12. you wont have any issues at all
if you run a 305 25 you will not be satisfied with the look and the handling.. i have an idea as to the look youre going after, i have the same look on my gt3rs wheels.

as far as pirelli and michelin, ive compared numerous p zero corsa against michelin ss, and the michelins have a significantly larger sidewall (atleast it looked that way). i guess on paper its different (??), but when theyre on wheels, the michelin always has a bulgy appearance (which i like). if you want that nice stretch, do a pirelli 245/325 on a 9/12.

as for you ET, 18 doesnt really mean much because youre on a step lipped wheel. so the 18 might be a bit confusing for us guys running a 42 offset in the rear, kissing the fender.

I run Michelin PSS and I love them and will take them over the Pirelli's any day.

Michelin PSS on a 12 does not look stretched. Agree that you would think it would, but it doesn't. I would know, that's what I'm running.

I'm running 19x12 champion rg5's. Rear offset is 44 and it is damn near ideal. Much less offset is going to be very close to the fender.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm really want to stay away from the Pirellis unless I have no other choice.

I am going to order 1 x 305/25/20 Michelin PSS, just for a test fit and see what I think. I'll post up some pics when I do.

Specs of the tires are -

305/25/20 - fits 10.5-11.5, 26" overall Diameter

325/25/20 - fits 11.5-12.5, 26.3 overall Diameter

Keep in mind the 305 rim range on the Super Sport and Pirelli are both up to 11.5". If you are running 12" wheels, you should have the 325 tire on it. Otherwise you are going to be stretching the tire to beyond what the manufacturer recommends.

a 305 25 is going to stretch a bit more than our 305/30 on a 12...
pss's have a fat "rim protector".. so even though you'll stretch the tire a little, it won't look as dramatic as it really is.

you'll have a similar look to what you have now. (which is what makes your car looks so awesome, especially from the rear).

is your new wheel step lip or rolled lip ? or did you go 1 piece/concave ?

either way your stretch will be minimal.. but i'de still run a 325 just because of the added grip and the steam roller look you'll have
btw, if its not too late, why not do a 12.5 rear ?
that what prodigy runs, i saw it in person and its PERFECT with a 325. its got that bit of slant on the sidewall (singer 911 - esque), and that super wide stance. fitment no issue.

They are Step lipped. Thinking the 305 will work. I'll test one out and see. If not, I'll go with the 325 and adjust my PSS10's and alignment a bit.

Wishing now I would have gone with 12.5
