Size difference between Pirelli and Michelin?

I've got new wheels coming and am trying to decide on tires. New wheels are going to be fairly aggressive and my car is pretty low. How much bigger do Michelin PSS run then a Pzero? Wheels are going to be 20x9 and 20x12. Really want to run the PSS but I am worried about fitment since they seem like a bigger/fuller tire.

20x9 and 20x12 you can fit 245/325 michelin supersports without any issues whatsoever.

pirellis are small.

you can also run nitto 255/345 without issue too.

When I went from PS to PSS, the PSS does look beefier and this was due to the sidewall being more square with the tire rim side bead. Otherwise as long as the sizing is the same between tire brands, I don't believe you have anything be concerned with

Go on the Tirerack website & look up the tires your looking at & it gives the actual dimensions in inches of each brand so you can compare,it's interesting to see how much difference there can be from one brand to another in the same size tire.

Why would you go with 20" rather than 19" ?

What is the most agressive summer tire if you never drive in rain? SuperSports seem a weather to me.

So confusing! Everyone says Pirellis run small. My dilemma is, I like my cars low, my wheels aggressive and my tires with a nice rounded look, not stretched or square. Right now I am running 20x9 and 20x11 with 305/25 and 235/30 Nitto Invos. My new set-up is going to be 20x9 and 20x12 with really aggressive offsets. I really want to run Michelin PSS but I'm pretty sure for my car a 325/25 PSS will be too big and square.

Would a 235/35 ( 26.5 ) and a 305/30 (27.2) Michelin PSS fit my needs?

My car sits like this now and will be very similar on the new set up but with 12's on the back.

Post your new offsets. 305 on 12" will look stretched. Also what are your current alignment settings.

Don't remember the # but they will sit like my wheels sit on the pictures above which right now are 11" ET18. For the PSS, I am talking a 30 series and not a 25. The 305/30 is rated for a 10.5 - 11.5 which is obviously a bit smaller then a 12" but a little pull on the tire does not bother me. I have also PM'd Damon from tirerack about the 305/30 and 235/35 combo to see if he has any advice.

and just to elaborate a bit more.. 997.1 GT3's run 305/30 on 12's but they are 19's and look perfect.

My Champion wheels are 19x12 in rear, and 305 PS2s looked ridiculously stretched. I recently put a set of Supersports on them (same size) and the stretch is almost completely gone. There is even a slight lip protector on the PSS. Would be scared to try a different tire in this width.

Figure out what the numbers are and we can give you better adice. ET 18" holy crap that is very agressive. Why are you running 35/30 series on 20" wheel? You diameters will be larger than OEM therfore you reduce clearence evern further. If you're running 20" wheels stick with 30F and 25R.

Also I see your post regarding 305 on 12" GT3, I still think it looks stretched.

Again figure out what your new offsets.

Wouldn't a 255/345 setup give issues w/ AWD system?

If not, I would love to be able to run 245/325 but didn't think I could get away with it w/ AWD. I thought 255 up front would rub too... but maybe not.
