Track Setting Question

I am a new member and recently switched from a 2011 Z06 Corvette Carbon Edition to a 2012 Turbo S/PDK. I am looking forward to some track days with the car. When I tracked the Corvette the recommend setting was "competition mode" allowing a fun ride and still retaining a bit of a safety net on the track. I have some track days as well as the introductory and advanced multi day schools at Spring Mountain. I would like to attend the Porsche 2 day driving school in Atlanta before taking my car onto the track. I am told it is quite a different animal on the track. What are the recommended settings for the PTM/PSM/PASM allowing some fun but still some safety net. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks for the assistance.
Regards
Rocky

I leave the traction control on and run sport plus in my 997.2 TTS.

If you're used to that Z06, I think you'll find the Porsche a very easy transition on the track.
