TheRock's 997 TT Mesh Grills and Radiator Cleaning DIY

OK...On a Rampage due to the weather and assuming others may be looking for good DIY projects during the winter months (or weeks depending on where you live )

I actually wrote and did this a while back, but since then the link was broken and I needed to clean up the document some. Also some who could no longer find it asked...so I obliged.

In this DIY I cover some good stuff:

How to remove Headlights
How to remove your Front Bumper Cover
How to remove Side Marker Lights
How to clean your Radiators
How to fabricate your own Mesh Grills

If you have a better way to do it...Knock yourself out. I created this DIY and in the spirit of helping my fellow enthusiasts.

Good luck to you all.

Certainly, if you see opportunities to help others, or tips please post here for them.

As always, I host these on my personal web server, so if it gets a lot of traffic, it may flake out....so just try again until it works.

Enjoy, and let me know if it helps....Also note, if you have trouble viewing the PDF stays very clear as you zoom in.

Awesome diy Rock. I try to stick a long neck shop vac attachment in the corners but I don't think it gets anywhere near the crap that is stuck in there. How long would you say it takes to get the bumper off and on? Not including the mesh install. (Looks good btw)

Thanks. Yes vacuum is good interim step, but cannot get it all...I would say you can remove bumper cover in 30-40 mins . Maybe longer first time, as you learn, but goes pretty quick and easy after that.
