Friend of a friends' BMW got smashed last weekend here in Houston. What is wrong with these people!!!

 

Do this to the wrong driver and you'll get yourself the beating of a lifetime. Just saying.

 

These people never got beat, which is why they behave with no consequences. Do what they want, say what they want, behave the way they want.

What is more of a concern... These are the people of our future.

What is missing from these children is the understanding that what a man sows he must also reap.

Imgine the disrespect of these children towards the adults ie. The man that was laying on the beach and then these kids WITHOUT FEAR, RESPECT just fall on him and walk off while video taping!!!! I am beyond words !!!

The more people do and or say nothing the more this disrespect grows.

We deserve what we tolerate!

 

I posted this so if one of us is stopped at a light and you see a group of teenagers/young people walking towards you be aware they might do this to your car.

 

Hopefully most of them will end up in one soon. America is in trouble

 

AMEN! We have created a society and youth population that are entitled, lazy and disrepectful.

I discipline my children, bring them to church, and insist they say please and thank you. They also work summers and during school terms. I want them to grow to be descent, productive members of society...That requires parents to be involved in keeping them active, paying attention to them, and teaching them values...

What the hell happened to our country??? Most also forget, or couldn't care less about all of our brave soldiers that sacrificed so much for the freedom we enjoy today...

It is very dissapointing, and troubling....

Couldn't agree with you more Rock. Knock on wood, although my kids aren't Angels, we are complimented on how respectful, thoughtful and good natured they are. When asked how do you do it? I say:

1. Teach your children to respect.
2. Keep your fridge full and never say no when they want friends over. ( over the years it's been easy for us to spot the rotten apples and then let our kids understand what we see. Months later, out kids come up to us to say the too important words.... You're right.)
3. Be the parent that drives the kids to and from... It's amazing what you hear when they talk in the car with each other.
4. Make it law that dinner is to be eaten together without the TV on. Doesn't matter if you have sports, piano lessons, etc. we've had dinners at 5 and all the way to 9 just to make sure we sit together and share each other's day.
5. Your a parent first and foremost. Be their friend once they've shown they can be a good person. I've seen too many parents try to be friends and when they need to be the parent, they don't have the children's respect.
6. Don't be hesitant to discipline.

Punks who don't respect other peoples things. They have never had to work hard for anything. Most of them are raised by sorry parents and get their money from Uncle Sam..
