Admittedly it's not all that intuitive but the instructions regarding this are pretty detailed in the owner's manual starting about page 110. Good luck.

zegm is infamous around these parts
You know I had that manual out sitting in my lap and I never saw that partial setting. I think I need to let the wife have a shot at it, heck it is her car anyway and she is an engineer. OK an Electrical Engineer, a blonde one, oh maybe I should get my son to give it a shot too! Today while driving it it showed the left front low by 4lbs but then later showed the fronts the same? I really need to find a way to disconnect this system. Or has anyone thought of a way to broadcast to the control module? I have heard that a company that makes military vehicles out of 1/2 ton trucks actually make little PVC tubes/canisters, put the TPM in the tube and fill them up with the amount of air the computer wants to see just to get the things to shut off!

If you have access to a Durametric Pro version you can disable TPMS. Read here:
http://rennlist.com/forums/diy-submi...etric-pro.html

I understand the shortcomings of the system and always set my tire pressure using a quality manual gauge. Then I see what the TPMS says the pressures are (usually 3 psi different than gauge) and then I just use the TPMS readings to give me relative pressures - that way if I see a change in TPMS readings I can check for leaks, etc. The real benefit for me is having the system identify a slow leak while on the road.

Tpms

Ok now I need some help from the boards. My wife's 2007 Carrera does NOT have the partial vs. Full load on the system. It is not even in the manual. Did they update this system later in the year 2007? When you go to that option as directed by U-Tube videos and other posts it does not exist. I am wondering if we can reflash the computer or would we have to purchase a new TPMs module?

Starting about page 109 in the manual (check your index under "Tire Pressure Monitoring") - you'll find all the info you need. Page 113 has info about the load setting you haven't been able to find.

I just bought snaketits stock centerlocks for use at the track (after I powdercoat them) and I'm trying to figure out whether I should get TPMS. I run lower pressure at the track than the TPMS wants so TPMS warning comes on so I'll probably pass rather than fork out $76 each.
