That's normal? I seriously thought my car was broken, that was on the list of things to fix.

From the owner's manual:

One-touch operation
f Press the rocker switch upwards or
downwards to the second stage.
Window moves to its final position.
Press again to stop the window in the desired
position.
Coupé
One-touch operation for closing the passenger’s
window is available once the window is approximately
half-way closed

- No Auto Headlights
- No Voice control
- No Full one touch up for passenger window.
- Would love heads up display
- Sports Chrono can't be converted to a clock like in the 991's
- No back up camera

but I LOVE this car!!!

I guess one thing that sort of bugs me is pushing down on the hood to lock it. Yeah, it's not that much pressure, but I always feel like I'm going to dent something. So maybe one of those electronic doohickeys that "pull" the lid close after you gently lay it on top of the latch? Eh.....too much weight added to the car, right?

But it's weight in the right direction. More to balance that heavy rear end .

You guys won't believe this... I just realized the mats I'm complaining about ARE Lloyds! They are thicker than normal and say Turbo and also have straps on the bottom next to the Lloyds tag. But I see nothing to anchor the strap to. They kinda curve up from sliding forward against the dead pedal etc. But I prob didn't need new ones - just needed to find a way to anchor them.

Oh well, looks like I will have 2 pair now.

Very strange. I have the Lloyd mat for 7 years now and it does not slide around, period. No buckle/anchor needed either (the mat comes with the buckle but 997 Turbo does not provide an anchor - my mat buckle hangs loose/unconnected).

The back of the mat is this black rubber sticky material and the mat fits exactly into the physical space available; it can't slide even if it wants to. Does your current one not have an exact fit to the bottom space (no room to slide around)? Does it have that rubber backing?

This is just bizarre. I'd thought it worked "sometimes". Same way I thought the moonroof was one touch "sometimes"

Turns out at speed it opens partially to control wind noise so one touch and stopping in the middle is oeprating at intended. Who the hell opens a moonroof half way?

Why? Why does Porsche do this? Makes no sense.
