GT2 slave conversion question

Situation:
My accumulator is showing all the symptoms of starting to crap out. It isn't too bad, and no noticeable leaks or anything - but i get the incredibly stiff pedal from time to time.

My clutch seems to be fine.

Contemplating:
Swapping the EVOMS GT2 clutch conversion kit. I have been told and read it is best to do this modification when changing the clutch due to the amount of effort in order to change it out.

My clutch is fine and I do not have any power mods yet, although i do plan to get an exhaust and a tune in the next year and plan to track my car a bit as well.

My question:
I am looking for opinions on the following options:

A) Replace the accumulator and keep stock clutch/slave setup
B) Go with the GT2 slave replacement and keep stock clutch till it finally goes.
C) Replace clutch and go with the slave conversion

I hate to replace a good clutch for no reason, but if i am going to have to do that anyways in the next 12 months, I'm trying to determine if the cost savings and overall pedal feel of doing these together is worth it.

Curious if anyone has any opinions or experience.

Just my opinion...if you pull the trans for a clutch, drill and tap the case is a better way to do it. I just did mine recently (what part of TX are you in?)

Accumulator is like 150 ish and about an hour or so of work, so you aren't "throwing away" a lot of money if the accumulator is truly the problem.

If you are stock now, how soon until you add mods?

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm in Houston.

I'm fairly certain it is the accumulator, just based off of the searches and threads i have read.

I am planning for the exhaust and tune probably early next year.

Then I'd suggest throwing an accumulator at it and Be on your way.

Would you recommend the slave conversion once I have the power adders and am needing a new clutch?

What was the driver behind your switch to the GT2 set up? I'm guessing for the feel and consistent launches etc.

Mostly I did it because when I pulled my clutch, I needed to replace my clutch fork. Figured then was the time.

Also I had a pretty tricky clutch before. Kept with the same kind, but the conversion has made it easier to drive.

I think it depends on how far you want to go... If you just stick with tune and exhaust, you won't have to go with a real grabby clutch. It ll stay near stock like engagement. If you're ok with that, bag the conversion

That being said I love my set up now and don't feel like the pedal is even terribly difficult.

if the trans has to come out for any reason this is the time to do the swap. factory setup is the best cheapest way to go. if your clutch is fine then drop a new accumulator in and wait it out. the biggest issue with any of the gt2 setups is the p/s work and the install of the new m/c. the work on the trans itself is 2 on a 10 scale
