Hello to all Porsche owners,

I have a urgent question about fitting the exhaust. As i cant find Akrapovic exhaust for sale to 997 Turbo MKI i need to know if the MKII model exhaust will fit to MKI model? I mean the whole exhaust, even with the exhaust manifolds if its possible. If its not a direct fitment, can you please tell me what have to be modified to fit it? Or its impossible?
Also, if anyone know where to buy this exhaust, it can be used also, let me know please!

And also, is it possible to fit the GT2 model exhaust to 997 Turbo MKI or its the completely different thing? Whats the main difference?
Is there any exhaust manifolds made by Akrapovic to 997 Turbo version at all, anybody knows? Ive found only manifolds for GT3 version.

No, it won't fit unfortunately. Different engines.

 

Okay, thank you for the answer. Is there any other option for the Titanium exhaust at all for 997 Turbo MKI? Seems like "mission impossible" to find a set of Akrapovic for that car, even new one.

 

kline can make you a titanium exhaust for 997.1. Also I believe quicksilver has one as well. Both of these are cheaper than akra.

Why titanium, a few pounds makes zero difference on a 3700# street car?

 

^ Unfortunately that's a good point lol. I like the sound Inconel makes and Kline has some amazing value. Often times less expensive than other titanium and even some stainless systems out there. The system sound how they look!

 

It's for the sound. Plus kline can be had for like 5500. So for 1500 more than a europipe you get inconel. Pretty good value. Or you spend like 200-300 more than GMG,BBI, AWE for the kline inconel. And less if you want capristo.

Now if you want the cheaper titanium exhausts then sure inconel is expensive, but there is a reason they are way cheaper.
