2008 Turbo Cab questions

Looking at 08 Turbo cab auto with 34K miles. Anything to be wary of? If things progress I will have the local Porsche dealer do an assessment. Little shy with the mileage being in the upper range, I don't hold on to cars long, maye a couple of years, dont want to get slammed on resale either.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Great car. Get a PPI at a qualified Porsche mechanic. I wouldn't consider 34K to be high mileage.

Check to see the life of the TPMS and make sure it has a current service with the plugs replaced and that all the services have been on time or early.

34k is certainly not in the upper range for an 08. The price falloff is pretty steady and gradual until you start approaching about 70k. I'd say you definitely want to know if the coolant pipes have already (all) been handled as that failure seems to be very common and quite a headache.

One of my buddies checked and found a previous owner service record for it. He now has a leak. He called the shop. They dropped the motor and fixed one pipe. Seriously. And they said that was standard practice for them.

There is an older couple in my local PCA group that has a 2007 997tt with over 300k miles on it, with only doing the schedule maintenance.
