Wrapping the hood

Anyone know what it costs and have any pics of a black car with a matte black hood.

it shouldn't cost more than 300$-400$ to wrap the hood including material & labor.

I am just getting sick of the rock chips. I dont have a lot but every ping i cringe

The Rock did his black car with a carbon fiber wrap. It looks good.

Did mine also. It provides a little more track protection. I need to re-wrap it though. Its an easy DIY if you have a little patience and a second set of hands..

What did you use? I am in the same boat. one car puts a tire off track and its awful every time by.

I used 3M's 1080 version with a heat gun.

Cost $200 and a cup of coffee while I waiting for the installer to finish. No Matt black but carbon finish

Just ordered a sheet of 3M black carbon for mine. Will post some pics when I get it wrapped up. Hoping it will match my carbon fiber stone guards.

I already have clear bra on mine. The installer is saying it has to come off to make sure the wrap takes good.

The clear bra on my hood was showing some wear. Lots of swirls and scratches. Decided to change things up a bit and go for the carbon look.

I really think the carbon looks awesome, I wish I would have saw how it looked before I spent 600 on the clear bra. Post the pictures after you get it done.
