The one thing that always bothered me about the 997TT was the radio, I couldn't stand it. I never could really figure it out, the Navi was so outdated. Just the worst part of the car and carrying CD's is so 90's. So I was on a hunt to find a good unit that didn't look like an aftermarket unit. I ended up finding Dynavin, did some reading on it and for the price under 1K total I figured I'd give it a shot.
After using it for a few days and getting it set up, I'm very happy with it. Navi is nice and up to date, has bluetooth streaming which sounds awesome and from what I've read they are going to have the ability to run apps on it. Only thing I could find wrong with it was when the navi is on, the speed on the car is 2mph off from what the navi says.
I ended up buying it from Jeff at J&T distributing and he was more than helpful with all my questions.
That looks great. I've been debating swapping out my Avic 7k for it, but it works so well I don't want to mess with it. I wish this was available when I made the switch for looks alone.
That's what sold me, was the way it looks stock. Plus it ended up being 2K cheaper than going the Alpine route. Sounds awesome, super easy to use and saved me 2K.
How about the OBD intergration?
Can you adjust each channel separately?
From the install docs it seems like their MOST bus converter is only 2 channel.
Slick unit though. And if you give it a solid review it's going on my short list.

I know the OBD doesn't work, what do you mean by the channels?
the sound quality is awesome. I went to the track yesterday, it's about an hour drive. I used the bluetooth streaming, works flawlessly. I don't know about the Sat. radio, being this is my 2nd car I really didn't look into it. I figured pandora, would be perfect. Then I don't have to pay $14 a month when I only dive it maybe every two weeks. Try reaching out to Jeff @ J and T, I'm sure he'd know. He's very helpful too.
i'm resurrecting an old thread, very interested in this unit- i have a a2005 997 w/BOSE, is this unit just a DROP IN to replace the PCM? So i wont need all the other cables, double din thing and all that would go if i bought a pioneer for example? pretty much plug and play?
