Took about 12 hours over the past several weekends & weekday nights but I think I got the paint back to where it used to be. Prior to being traded into the dealership, the car was in great shape but sitting on a dealers lot it got a little neglected. I tried to tackle this several weeks back but when I started I realized my Griot's DA polisher died. Fortunately the Griot's polisher comes with a lifetime warranty and was replaced/upgraded free of charge (it was about 7 years old). Equipment and product used includes:
* Griots DA polisher with Chemical Guys Foam pads & Meguiar's Microfiber Pads
* CarPro Reset Car Shampoo
* Sonax Fallout Cleaner
* Leatherique Prestine Clean for interior
* Chemical Guys Med Clay
* Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Gel
* Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish Polish
* Menzerna Intensive Polish 2000
* Blackfire Wet Diamond Finish
* CQuartz Coating - applied to all painted surfaces and certain plastic parts
Enjoy.
