I would like to know what is the difference between the hfs3 & hsf4? In planning on getting a kit for a 997.1tt

They share the same feature set basically but the HFS-4 is more geared towards the newer DFI motors (direct injection) whereas the HFS-3 is for port injection motors such as what you've got. I'd suggest going with the HFS-3 on your car. Feel free to email me for any more details or if you need any help with getting it tuned.
