Pic Request: MAF Removal Bit

Happy 4th.

I recently bought a Tamper Torx bit set that contains a t25 bit, that from my understanding that will work on the MAF screws. I attempted this morning but it just doesn't fit right. Before I break something, can someone upload a picture of the bit they have successfully used to remove the MAF bolts?

The reason is that these are Pentalobes and not Torx. They have only 5 points, whereas Torx has 6. That is your issue. Good luck.

Here is a link: HERE

Cool - they must have switched for 997. 6 points work for 996.

Yes...it appears they did. On my 996s I always used Torx.
