Pre tune diagnostics?

I'm considering installing an exhaust and Cobb AP soon, but would like to run diagnostics on the car prior to make sure I'm not going to exacerbate any potentially pre existing issues. Realise that it's not possible to have a complete view of every component, but I'm keen to know if there is any specific logging (using a Durametric) that can be done to make sure the car is running well prior to tuning.

You can install the AP and just run a Stage 0 map that comes on the AP it will tell you how the car is running.

Also I would advise a boost leak check to make sure that there are no leaks in the intercooler system.

Let us know if we can help at all!

Pre tune diagnostics?

Thanks Mitch, appreciate the offer. If possible, and given I have a Durametric, I am keen to get a view prior to investing any more in the car (wouldn't want to buy an AP only to find a problem that would preclude me from using it).

If you have a durametric, take some logs of your car and post them here. We will be able to get an idea of how your car is running with the stock tune. Unfortunately the durametric cannot log a lot of the more interesting parameters that the Accessport can, so you still might unearth issues once you install it. Frankly, that's one of the pluses of the AP though.

Thanks. Would need guidance on the logs that provide the most value.
