Hi guys I need some help here as I've read a few threads about changing the steering wheel from a 997.1 to a 997.2 steering wheel & it feels like the more I read about it the more I get confused about which way to go & what I need to purchase.
I've got a manual 997.1 with a multifunction wheel & I would like to change it to a 997.2 multifunction wheel so can somebody please tell me exactly what needs to be done for everything to work including the mf buttons, horn etc.

this is a very tricky upgrade as every time i have seen someone do it there is a different method.
best idea is to find a shop that has done it before. i went to few different places including dealership and nobody got it right til i went to house auto

 

There's a good thread on rennlist, basically you need the wheel, airbag and wire harness. I believe the pwis needs to be used to activate the mf features.

 

Call or email Suncoast - they will tell you what you need.
