lol 775bhp -885bhp VTGs claims (whp by the way!!) very much snake oil - I think everyone on thread is on the same page - you know your (our) VTG's limitations and are happy with them (as am I). For everyday use they are no doubt not bad at all. Some of the VTG power claims on this forum beggar belief and demonstrate zero knowledge by certain tuners and forum members. To make it worse they then come up with every excuse in the world why their VTGS have not run 0-300kph + hence cannot post VBOX and logs of IATS / EGTS for over 8 years +. 885 VTG whp my foot! Quite a few US tuners bar a few seem to make these wild VTG HP claims - doesn't seem to happen as much over here in Europe - maybe there are stricter trade description laws or may be European tuners power packages are more field tested on regular basis

IATs don't change over other types of fuels, they are just much more irrelevant. That's the difference. You can safely back down the timing and boost correction factors as IATs increase on E85. All of those parameters are bone stock on my car BTW, and my IATs barely even crest 100 F in 70 deg weather during a 40-130 pull for a 60-130 time.

Wow...from 52sec on that video to 1m 04 sec....ambient temp on the cluster jumps from 65 degrees to 95

The car was pulling strong to 323 and would have pulled higher, but I saw a suspicious car in front and I slowed down a little to 280 - then he pulled over I had to test the brakes

That's about 3 minutes of different heat levels at Autobahn speeds. Completely different to single 1/4 mile runs or short highway pulls.

This is a heavy 997.1 cabriolet running 100-200 in 6.1 seconds.

so Cobb AP datalog is not capable of tapping into the stock EGT sensor output? Why is it a modeled monitor if an actual sensor is factory built?

That's actually degrees Celsius and you are off by a factor of 10

As far as I can recall, we never had 65 to 95 C here in Germany and the fact that I still can recall, proves me right

Probably your calculator is on low batteries This is ambient temperature.

6.5 degrees C = 43.7 degrees F
9.5 degrees C = 49.1 degrees F

The difference is 5.4 F

The temperature sensor is sitting near to the water cooler on the right. After a pull you sometimes can see the "heat wave" that goes thru the car. The water cooler gets pretty warm and heat emission also changes the temperature reading of the ambient sensor by 1-2 degrees C.

Great runs Adam!! Any videos??
I also noticed a huge change when running the plugs Turbo Mike had recommended.
I bent my rods at the Shift Sector event that I ran 173mph (according to my speedometer). Do you think you are at the edge/limit of what power your rods can handle?

Used NGK, FPR7B and 4853 appears on my receipt. Another receipt 18,000 miles later reads NGK.4853.I I don't know why I have 2 different NGK #s. Gap was set at .028"
