Was this all bore work or stroke too? If stroked then they are possibly worried to rev much higher due to shorter rod to stroke ratio than what was there OEM.

 

Good point! I guess both stroke and bore, but with the right gt3 parts 8000rpms might not be an issue, or at lest I suppose so

 

At 4.2L they had to impact the rod/stroke ratio with shorter rods most likely. Otherwise 8k+ would be no problem at all. Its most likely an rsr crank and 103.x mm pistons.

 

When you run this thing please make sure you run in both directions. I wouldn't want you to upset the Earth's rotational rate.

 

Using 997t valve train. This is reason for 7500 rev limit. If you can't rev higher then make it come on the power sooner. Just a matter of finding right A/R for this set up. This was first stab at it. 7500 limit isn't going to change.

Incredible to think stock cases are holding this power, truly amazing. Congratulations on the numbers and I have to say I would love to see some action with this car off the dyno.

He is apart of the 6speed family, so he HAS TO SHOW US SOME ACTION OFF THE DYNO!! It is apart of the 6speed cult when we signed up (pls read the small print!), or else we disown them off of 6speed to start with and the next step, let's just say it has been "rumored" that those rebellious members cars go missing and a riced out Civic is put in its place!!
