Exterior Molding Replacement

I have a worn exterior molding shown in the pic below that I'd like to replace. Anyone know how easy a job this is to DIY? Also, any idea what the part # is? Looked on Suncoast & Pelican but can't locate.

Gavram,

have you tried cleaning the trim and then coating it with a trim restore product?

I would recommend trying that first, and if it still is faded like that, then replace.

I would recommend a product called carpro dlux.

PS i'm local and have a slate grey TT coupe.

Not absolutely certain, but appears to be one of these parts. I would verify before purchasing...and looks like it may use a blind rivet, so may not be a good DIY?

Good luck!

Thanks, Good suggestion...I think I'll give this a try. I'd look forward to meeting up this spring after I get the 997 out of hibernation. Love to see slate grey on a coupe.

Do you have a closer shot of the molding? I've gotten some nasty grime off the trim on my Jeep.

Oh, I'm local to you as well..

I use gummi pflege. Works perfect on that trim. Apply and let sit for a few minutes, then use a microfiber towel to buff. . Look brand new. Only downside is you need to reapply every few car washes.
