997.2TTS PDK kinda rough when cold?

Anyone with one of these cars ever experience the pdk tranny to be a little rough in gear changes when cold? I certainly don't overdrive my car when cold and I know oils need to warm up before I get on it.

The other day I was pulling forward slowly and it seemed to stay in 1st and rev up to around 4k prior to changing. I had to look down to make sure I didn't accidentally press sport or sport plus and I had not.

Sometimes, not often, it seems to clunk a little when cold. Never when warm. This is my second 997.2 TTS and my first did not do this. My car is a 2011.

Thanks,

Tom

Just about every dual clutch car I've owned, including my 11 pdk, has been a little rough shifting when cold usually warms up quick though. If they shifts are jarring I'd be a little concerned but if just a little more harsh until it warms up, normal in my experience

Yeah 997.2 is pretty rough as well when cold but I like it. My 991 is smooth as butter all the time....too much like an automatic trans.

Agreed - it really smoothed out my 2-1 downshift in sport mode when coming to a stoplight during normal driving. It helped everywhere, but that's where I noticed the largest improvement.

How long ago did you have it done? Haven't been to a Porsche dealer in years so I imagine I never had this campaign done

I had it done last summer by bodymotion. Very noticeable difference. Crisper and smoother.
