I just bought a certified 2009 997.1 turbo tiptronic last week ... i just installed giac tune and stage 2 giac trans software with new filters... I ordered the ipd plenum 82mm.. going to install that tomorrow to see the difference. Does the plenum really give u 30 to 40 to the wheels with the other mods i did last week. Also i got a good deal on a discontinued miltek exhaust for 2400 with 100 cel race cats. Debating on installing that ? Do u think its a good price and will i see a nice power dif. with adding that exhaust?

 

doubt you will see that much with the plenum but some have seen performance gains up top. How do you like the trans tune. welcome to the forum.

 

You will likely get little to nothing from the plenum. Definitely not 30-40 HP.

Intake plenum , not one but. Exhaust, a little but tune will be more money worn spending

Why is milltek discontinuing ? Nobody buys them ?

 

Good tune and exhaust are the best first mods. Skip the plenum, and go for better intercoolers next.
