Finally after about 3.5 months of waiting for parts and paint I've been officially deemed the first 997 turbo in the US with the 9FF front lip spoiler and side skirts. I also ordered a GT2 style decklid with carbon. I haven't had the chance to do an official shoot of the car but I got some iPhone photos to show the parts installed. I decided to paint the lip and sides Matte black to give the car a bit more contrast and capture a GT2 look.
Love the look. I have been on the fence for this mod for almost a year. I am pretty sure the lip would take a beating with lowered cars. How are you finding it? Do you think you need to take slopes and driveways more slower than with the oem lip?

Please share your experience.
So far so good with the lip *knocks on wood*. I have always had to take driveways slower so I'm used to having to be cautious. My OEM lip was lower but didn't hangout as much so I much more cautious with the 9FF lip. Nobody carries 9ff parts in the US and I haven't found a distributor so I myself became an importer of 9FF parts and if anyone is interested I can put up the money to have the parts stocked. Let me tell you it was a painful process with customs but since being the gineau pig has made me understand the process so everyone else doesn't have to endure it. The parts are custom made out of fiberglass and take a few weeks to manaufarture, then have to be prepped and painted. From what I was told by my bodyshop the fit was easy and the side skirts just had to be screwed in.
How much was this and whats the quality, fit and finish like?
I like the front spoiler and slide skirts but the side skirts look like they're slightly short on one side at the front and again slightly short on theatre side at the back - may just be the photo?
Rear deck lid ace too - who makes that and whats the cost of this too pls?
Quality of the sideskirts is decent but the lip is excellent and the finish all comes down to your bodyshop because it wasnt the greatest but my bodyshop did an amazing job. As far as price It's hard to exactly how much with VAT, shipping and the Euro.
The GT2 style decklid is made by VIS and was roughly $2000 with the carbon. The side skirts match up to the stock length it's just the angle.

Awesome looking ride! How's the quality of the VIS GT2 trunk lid/spoiler? Would you mind posting close up pics of the rear trunk lid body gaps and trunk surface under the spoiler? And do you have a link?

The quality of the VIS decklid is surprisingly good and didn't take much prep from what I'm told.
