Sorry been away, i did say that i'd changed my DV's to uprated ones and it was still there ... No one seems concerned with mine (dealers or specialists) however i would be interested if you do find out whats causing it

Hey Lennon, I had a simular issue. Did you have your windows down during the recording of the video?

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...hts-point.html

I posted a noise vid on the second page. Drove me nuts! Replaced clutch and various other parts including diverter valves (that ended up locking with an open position.) Literally spent two month problem solving an issue that i still cant explain.

I ended up losing 3K on my prior tune and spending $2k on a new one all fixed! Not bad for spending 5K. You may want to try before you buy and see if this is the same case for you.

Did you try a stock filter? It's normal with higher boost but if it bugs you that may reduce it.

nope, filter was on prior to tune, i think move would be to load stock maps back on evaluate, speak with softronics and then make a move from there.

Yeah I bet on the stock map you will hear it go down by 50%. You are hearing more air pressure divert through there. And the sport filter masks this less from the airbox side which can be heard from inside a bit. Just trying to help your worries about it.

You could also try disconnecting the sound symposer (that pipe that channels engine sound into the cabin). That might help a bit.
