Race Tech Forged Owes Me $5000
I purchased Race tech wheels earlier this year. Fraudsters. I posted on their Facebook about them
Owing me money and their **** communication and they finally got my wheels out.
Since then I have Ahmad a lot of people reach out to me asking about what happened.
I'm glad I got my wheels finally but Raz and that entire team are a **** show. I hope they go out of business and no one else gets scammed.

Here's my share of aftermarket wheels.
I bought 3 piece ADV1's when they were fairly new back in 2011 for 6200. It took them over 10 weeks to complete. Then they were worthless after trying to argue with bimmerpost forum about faking TUV certification's.

2014 I bought some MORR forged wheels when they were a hot item on bimmerpost. They offered a significant discount. It took them 8 months to make after multiple calls each month after it was promised to be finished. Then they disappeared off the internet. By the time I got the wheels I had already sold the car. This was for a wide body BRZ which was never completed.

Recently I received a message from Racetech on here offering discount on their wheels. Never again will I go with a non reputable company. Glad I turned this down now that I see all the problems with it.
On a brighter note, I have HRE's on both my M3 and 997 Turbo. They pick up the phone and take care of any issues. The only issue I ever had was the wrong center caps sent for my flow form wheels. Which they shipped the correct ones immediately, no questions asked.

On a side note, both your choice of wheels look amazing on each respective vehicle! Also the wheels on your M3 would also looks mean on the 911 as well !

I have recently filed a complaint at the State of California Attorney General's office against Race Tech Motoring (aka Race Tech Forged), asking that they issue an order to the County Sheriff to serve immediate closure on RTM/RTF for continuing to conduct business after being suspended by the State of California earlier in 2016, to be enjoined to return the $4500 I paid for these defective wheels, to serve fines and criminal charges for the perpetration of consumer fraud, consumer abuse, conducting a business in a devious and deceptive manner, falsifying their business address to deceive consumers, false advertising, and inept ability to produce quality wheels. There are close to 100 pages in this complaint.
I have provided substantial merit and attached 20 other related Forum complaints to the AG to authenticate my charges and have a high level of confidence I will prevail on all of them. I would urge anyone has not already come forward with their unresolved issues with RTM/RTF to file their own complaint with the AG, they are your champion, it is easy to do on line or by mail, and your tax dollars are paying for the best. If you have any thing to share that you think would help me at the Attorney Generals office, message, email, or phone me garyever1@gmail.com, Ph 541.400.0330

Yeah I read somewhere anyone can design a wheel and send it off to get it manufactured. MHT in California makes a lot of the wheels for companies like these.

I'm glad you're taking action and hoping for a good outcome for you.
If you returned them via standard post (fedex, UPS) to a US address, and can document that they were being returned for refund, which they did not honor, and they keep the wheels you returned to them (i.e. had no intent to provide you a refund, and did not send the wheels back to you), you may have them on mail fraud, which in the US carries a very stiff penalty...

A lot of discussion and further problems with this company has come to light. See the thread in the other forum.

In summary:
Race Tech Forged is a fraudulent company with a fake address. Their wheels are cast pieces of crap, not forged at all.
My personal story is still unfolding. Supposedly they have sent me a certified check. I do have a pic of it and a tracking number. We'll see though. Not holding my breath that it's legit.
