Camber and Toe setting

Hi All,

I have my car lowered with KW V3 coilovers, dog bones, toe links and eibach sway bars.

My car is currently very low. I have my rear camber set to -2.2 and my toe is .6

I drive my car about 5,000 +/- a year........I dont track my car, but i am running a very aggressive tire set up =rear 20x13 rim with a 345-25-20 tire.

?Question is - what should my rear toe be set at in order to save tire wear, with the -2.2 camber i have?

Do you drive aggressively in tight B roads etc? If not, dial out a bit of the rear toe and camber. Perhaps back to neutral toe in the rear. Realistically the best person to talk to about this is your mechanic assuming he knows what he's doing. Talk him through where you like to drive and how, and get him to recommend something specific to your car.

If the .6 is in degrees, that is around .25" toe in, pretty aggressive. You could reduce that in half, and get better wear. Some tradeoff in stability, but with 345's, you should have ample rear grip. Camber is ok, could be set to 1.5 to 2.0, but its possible 2.6 is needed for fender clearance.

Why do you need so much negative camber in the rear? I run -1.7 and I actually track my car on 19x12's with 325 30 19 tires and no adverse tire wear.
