New I/C's = lower ET's but slower mph!
Can you post your logs up here? If you upload the logs to Datazap,.. you can see if it's pulling ignition timing.

When timing gets pulled,.. EGT's go up a lot.
Falling over on it's nose after a gear pr two sounds exactly like the ECU is pulling timing.
There is a tendency for engines to experience a momentary knock on a hard lift-off the throttle,.., such as during a shift. This is one of the reasons it's CRITICAL to road test your tune with your tuner in the car after leaving the dyno.
Just doing 3rd or 4th gear pulls won't get you good results. The car may make great power when you roll into it on the highway,.. but in real world driving, (on and off boost, hard shifts, etc). the car may well be slow.

Ugh! Car definitely isn't running up to par. Last year in the heat I ran a 6.74 @ 105! Tonight in waaaaay cooler temps I ran a 6.71 @ 102.8 mph. Not good. The car feels like it's fighting itself. 60' was pretty good... 1.54 but as soon as the car leaves it noses over and it feels like it stumbles, so unfortunately the journey still continues to find the happy spot with this car.
I did data log both passes. I'm told the car is definitely pulling timing based on those egt's. It has Europipe WITH cats, the new AMS coolers, and tune.

On the freeway, the car pulls like a monster, but I attribute that to more air flowing across the coolers unlike drag racing starting from a dead stop. I had a reduced torque map they wanted me to load in the car but it's the same results.
No, unfortunately they deleted that tune... I wished I still had it, because I damned sure would try it at this point. My level of frustration is growing each day.
Quick update... I'm going to search out some 100 octane unleaded race fuel and try this same tune at the drag strip again. See if the higher octane changes anything? I'll report back when I find the fuel.
I'm going to order a 5 gallon bucket of 100 octane unleaded to see if it makes a difference, then I'll order a drum if it works.
Took the car back to Cobb yesterday and did some launch's using launch control... tuner determined the car is short shifting the 1-2 shift. 5,800 rpm's instead of 6,500 rpm's. The lil dip in the front end is because of that. He thinks the car is spinning the tires, trying to recover, it shifts into 2nd and closes the throttle plate at the same time. I did do one and manually shift the car, and that made it less noticeable but I'm not sure that's my problem?
Im going back to the track tonight if it doesn't rain to data log a couple more passes... we'll see if anything changes? To be continued....

L, if you're going to put the effort into getting some of that fuel you may as well get the highest unleaded octane you can. Like 109 or 104. More bang for your buck and more mixable. Hope they get you sorted soon buddy.
I'll prolly get some MS109. But not tonight. They were supposed to call Jon... but they didn't. Just got what I believe is a go away you bug me answer.
Getting a little frustrating, unfortunately I hate to say it but there is a separation there with new independent management. I really want to see you taken care of and I want to jump in but don't want to step on any toes. Give it one more try and at that point the team is just going to kick it in for you.

Thank you sir! I wasn't able to make it out there this evening.. had a date with my CPA and that ran long. Oh well, next week we'll try again. It is what it is right.
