PASM/Sport Mode Failure

I have recently gotten a wrap on my car and due to having to keep the doors/trunk open for prolonged periods of time to wrap everything over the panels, the battery on the car died. No problem, the shop doing the wrap jumped the car and everything is fine however now when I hit sport/sport plus button or the PASM button to stiffen/soften the suspension it shows up as a failure on my display and the modes won't engage. Everything else is working fine.

I searched for threads on this issue and have found that most people have gotten this error message only after doing suspension work. My car is a 997.2 turbo with no aftermarket suspension work at all so I don't think the issue is suspension related.

Has anyone else experienced a PASM/Sport mode failure after the battery died and you jumped the car? I have driven the car about 50 miles to see if the error would go away and it hasn't.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you driven the car at all since? It may just need some time to register.

Should be able to reset codes and it will go away. My car battery dies all the time and I get that notice. It goes away the next time I start the car.

Got this message on mine (but did in fact have suspension work)

took 2-3 resets with the Durametric to get it out.

Update: I checked the fuse (Row C F9) and it is completely fine. I also tried clearing codes on my accessport and I'm still getting the failure. I drove the car another 15 miles and it's not resetting itself. I guess I'll have to try the durametric tool next?

You could try disconnecting the battery. It's worth a shot.
