I'm running 10" fronts with 275 tires on stock fenders. Can he done with careful fitment and the right parts. It's on a 996 but even easier on a 997 as you can get the add on Cup flares or the Cup fenders.

If I went with a wider tire how would it effect my handling and would there be extra stress on transfer case...I know a lot o guys run a 245/325 set up witch is 10mm off ...wouldn't a 255 tire balance this car out at most run a 265 to bring ratio off only by 10mm...also does anyone know how much stock front fenders weight....really interested in this mod in the future ..and would be doing this when I upgraded my rims....thanks peeps..

I run 335 rears. With suspensions tuning (sways, shocks, springs) you can get whatever balance the is optimal for your set up.

Im running the Cargraphic fenders on my 997, if anyone is still interested in info on them

From some angles, they look no different than stock. But overall, they do give the front end a more aggressive look. Cargraphic says you can run up to a 285/30/19 on a 19x10 et40. I started with a 265/35/19, but the tire was too tall and rubbed. So, will be going down to a 265/30/19 on 19x10 et40.

Currently, I have the winter tires on up front 245/35/19 19x8 et45. You can see how much wider the Cargraphics are over the stock fenders (when my car was white)

Will the wide fenders work with the stock 997.2 TT bumper? Ie sit flush at the body panel joint?

They are designed to work with stock front bumper. I am running the 997.2 GT3 OEM front bumper, and the shop got them to line up perfectly.

That being said, I have been told that any of the aftermarket fiberglass and carbon parts require some custom fitment work at the shop when installed, to look perfect. Also, these do not line up with the factory wheel well liner, so custom modified ones have to be fabricated.
